Workshop for teachers on slow learners and learning disability - A one day workshop will be conducted every year on the said subject by eminent speakers in this field with the teachers of each institute and a check list will be handed over to the teachers for identifying slow learners and learning disabilities. Those in turn can be referred to our 'Crisis Intervention Clinic' for further management.

Assisting the teachers to come over stress - The teachers are often over stressed because of dealing with varieties of students. They may have stress at home which might carry with them at school. This might adversely affect their profession. We intend to counsel and assist them in getting rid of this perennial problem.

Yoga Practice - It has been established that Yoga plays a vital role in mental tranquility. We shall provide Yoga therapy for the teachers that will help them lot in their day-to-day life

Counseling of parents on the physical, psychological and learning disorder problems of their ward - In this connection each parent of the identified child will be provided with information on psychological and health problems of their ward and they will be provided with suggestions and medical advise for proper care of the ward.

Yearly health check-up with individual medical report - Approximately 12,000 students will be covered under the yearly health check-up program. Individual medical report for each student will be recorded and handed over to parents. The health check-up will be conducted by competent physicians at the school premises.

Counseling services to the students and their parents through telephone - A mobile unit "HELPLINE - 9830027976" is already being functioning for counseling of students and their parents. This is the only Mental Health Help Line in the country where every caller is attended by professional psychiatrist or psychologist.

A website www.projectguardian.org is hosted and will contain the details of each student of Project Guardian along with other interesting sections useful for the students. The site will be for dissemination of information and development of knowledge on child-psychology and health and disability related topics among students and parents. Best write-up of student competitors in the Inter School Competitions will also be highlighted. The magazine will be designed for school health issues. Other useful datas will also be incorporated.

Yearly dental check-up - Approximately 12,000 students will be covered under the yearly dental check-up program. Individual medical report for each student will be recorded and handed over to parents. The dental health check-up will be conducted by competent dentists at the school premises.

Yearly Eye check-up - Approximately 12,000 students will be covered under the yearly eye check-up program. A screening will be done to individual student and those with problems will be referred to Opthalmologist for further management. Individual medical report for each student will be recorded and handed over to parents. The eye - check-up will be conducted by competent opthalmologist at the school premises.

Identity Card with medical details - An identity card will be issued to each individual with school details on one side and medical details on the other.

Discount on all pathological tests - From the renowned Institutions to all the cardholders and their dear ones.

Inter School competitions related to health and disability - The Inter-School competitions on health issues will be organized once a year. Best students will be provided with awards and certificates. This competition will attract students on various health aspects.

Ambulance facility with oxygen and emergency medicines - On call ambulance service will be available during school hours in any emergency.

On call medical team will be available during school hours - A team of physician and a qualified nurse will attend the case as soon as they receive a call in their mobile. They will be equipped with emergency medicines, oxygen cylinder and an ambulance. This service will only be available during school hours in case of any emergency for first aid and assistance.

First Aid Certificate course - by Red Cross Society / St. John's only for class 10 candidates.

Mediclaim (optional) of Rs. 15000 per child per year - The medi - claim gives the school authorities the reassurance that even if the parents are not well off, the child will be guaranteed treatment to the extent that he is covered under the claim and in any emergency where the child needs any urgent admission in any nursing home. The parents too can be reassured that even if they are not being able to reach their child on time, they have ensured his/her safety through the medi claim & the Project Guardian. The rules of Mediclaim will be according to their laid norms and the school authorities or NIBS will not be responsible.

Nature Study Exposure Camp -One camp per year will be organized by incorporating teachers, parent representative under the guidance of experienced campers. This camp will be optional and the charges will be borne by individual parents for their wards. Students of class VIII and IX will be under a training schedule to be supervised by the eminent mountaineers ans campers. Eco-friendly natural surrounding will offer them a life time experience.
